Anil Ravipudi made his debut in films as an associate director with the 2008 film Souryam. He worked as Screenplay and dialogue writer in eight movies before made his debut as independent director. It was Kalyan Ram, who believed him and gave him a chance to direct him in the 2015 movie Pataas.
Pataas was a big hit at the box office. Then there was no looking back for this talented director as he went on to direct eight other films, and all of them were successes at the box office. His latest venture, Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu, has been a blockbuster hit with its collection of over Rs 300 crore gross.
