Early in the week, Google officially rolled out the Android 5.0 Lollipop OTA (Over-The-Air) to older Nexus devices.

Along with OTA process, Google had also released factory images to select devices - Nexus 5, Nexus 7 Wi-Fi only (2012 & 2013) and Nexus 10, leaving many tech-savvy Nexus 4 device owners little frustrated, who were eager to experience the new material design UI of the latest Android OS.

Better late than never, the company has now posted the downloadable OS update file to the 2012 flagship model Nexus 4, providing an alternate option for LG device owners, who just can't wait for wireless update, which may take a few more days or a week to reach all regions.
