It's a treat for fans of Anas Rashid and Diya Aur Baati Hum.
The viewers of the sequel of Diya Aur Baati Hum - titled Tu Sooraj Mein Saanjh Piyaji - will soon see Anas returning on the series. According to report, Anas' character Sooraj will be a part of the flashback scenes and will act as a mentor to his daughter Kanak (Rhea Sharma).

Elated to return on the show, Anas told Tellychakkar: "It feels like coming back to the family. I was at my home town in Punjab and became all excited and happy when I got the call. I followed the show whenever I got time and I used to miss Bhabo (Neelu Vaghela) and Bhabasa (Ashok Lokhande) whenever I saw them onscreen. I always used to think if I would have been there, I would have guided Kanak and Bhabo, finally meri dua qubool ho gayi."
Talking about how his track would unfold, the actor said: "Let's see what the makers have planned; I have no clue about it as it all happened all of sudden when I was out of town but all I can say is that it will be interesting to watch. The re-entry of a family member itself is a positive thing for everyone."
Post Diya Aur Baati Hum, Anas, 38, got engaged to a 24-year-old HR professional Hina from his hometown Malerkotla, Punjab.
In other news, Anas' co-star Deepika Singh, who played the lead role of Sandhya, is expecting her first child in a couple of months. After the show got over, Deepika had to fight a long legal battle with the producers over her payment issues. It was only recently that they came to common ground of settlement.
