Prithviraj Sukumaran's "Anarkali" has been running successfully in theatres, along with his two other blockbuster hits "Ennu Ninte Moideen" and "Amar Akbar Anthony".

The Sachy directorial has reportedly collected around Rs 4.5 crore within 5 days, after earning a gross amount of Rs 1.10 crore on its release day (13 November).

However, the movie could collect only Rs 1 crore (gross) on its second day. It improved collection on Sunday, minting Rs 1.20 crore, according to Filmibeat.

With the success of "Anarkali", Prithviraj has regained his position as the ruler of the Kerala box office with his hat-trick hits.

"Anarkali" narrates the story of young navy officers Shanthanu (Prithviraj) and Zacharia (Biju Menon). Shanthanu falls in love with Nadira (Priyal Gor), who is the daughter of a strict Rear Admiral Jaffer Imam (Kabir Bedi). The incidents that change their life forms the crux of the movie's story.

The film is a soothing love story and opened to positive responses from audience.
