There is no dearth of brand endorsements for the Bachchan family. Be it Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan or Aishwarya Rai Bachchan; the trio is known for being associated with some of the most prominent global and Indian brands. Abhishek Bachchan, at a recent event, revealed that the family's investment thought is linked to their core values as a family.
Abhishek said that while Amitabh Bachchan invests in lands, he invests in gold and wife, Aishwarya prefers to invest in silver. He added that Big B comes from the old school thought of where there's land, everything would be fine. And thus, always prefers investing in real estate.
Who invests in what
"My father is a believer in real estate, I think there is that old thought zameen hai to sab theek hai, you know, so that partially is there. I used to invest a bit in gold, thank god and then my wife's like what about silver," he said at the Global Business Summit 2026. He added that his investments include products that he can see familiarity with.
When it comes to brand endorsements, AB Jr added that he endorses only those products which he feels he can use. He mentioned that whenever a brand approaches him, his first thought is always whether he can use it for personal or professional use or not.
On brand endorsements
"I understand that as a film actor, it is part and parcel of the job, you are an actor, you endorse a brand, you leverage your celebrity status to whatever degree, but for me I find it uncomfortable and unnatural and almost deceitful if I actually don't use the product," he said.
"For me my first criteria if a proposal came to me to be a brand ambassador would be — will I use the product if I don't already," he added.
Abhishek also mentioned how he continues to own a Motorola phone, amex credit card, wears an omega watch; everything he once endorsed.
