The post was shared by Sergio Gor, the US Ambassador to India, who thanked the President for his support. Gor was also present at the Wankhede Stadium to watch the India vs USA match.
Placed in Group A alongside traditional heavyweights India and Pakistan, the USA now turn their attention to their next fixture against Pakistan. The team will be hoping to recreate its landmark 2024 victory over the Men in Green. Following that clash, the USA are scheduled to face the Netherlands and Namibia, but will first travel to Colombo for the high-profile encounter against Pakistan.
