Popular smartphone maker OnePlus is reportedly planning to host an open sale of flagship handset - 'One'- in India on 24 March.

"One of the first messages I got when I joined OnePlus was: 'Good things are meant to be shared,' and that's why March 24 is going to be a very special day. For a limited time and while stocks last, you can get the OnePlus One in 64GB Sandstone Black without an invite! As they say - Aji Aysa Mauka Phir Kaha Milega...," said Miguel. The company's official e-commerce partner Amazon India has confirmed to host the OnePlus One (both 16GB & 64GB) open sale on Monday from 10 am in the morning.

For the uninitiated, OnePlus One sports a 5.5-inch full HD display and runs on the 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 series quad-core SoC (System on Chip). It is backed by sumptuous 3GB RAM, 16GB/64GB memory and a 3100 mAh battery.

On the photography front, it houses a 13.0-megapixel Sony Exmor IMX214 camera with six physical lenses, f/2.0 aperture, dual-LED flash and 5.0 megapixel snapper on the front side.

In a related development, rival Xiaomi is hosting Redmi 2 and Mi4 (64GB) flash sale on Flipkart the very same day. The OnePlus One open sale is supposed to go live on 24 March.
