It seems Andrew Garfield is unfazed by the recent Sony hack controversy, which has suggested that the actor is out as a Spiderman.

The actor was recently seen in a jolly mood while taking an outing with his girlfriend Emma Stone. Sporting a bearded look, Garfield was dressed in a black jacket and pair of blue jeans. He kept himself snug in a black beanie. Stone matched her beau's outfit by wearing a similar black jacket with a pair of blue jeans. She added a hint of colour to her outfit by covering her red locks in an orange beanie.

The duo were seen holding hands as they took a stroll on the streets of New York, according to Daily Mail.

Garfield, who is yet to comment on the recent reports of his alleged exit from "Spider-Man" franchise, is currently gearing up for a new Martin Scorsese's flick "Silence." The actor plays the role of Father Rodrigues in the film, which is set in the 17th century.

The official synopsis of the film reads as "In the seventeenth century, two Jesuit priests face violence and persecution when they travel to Japan to locate their mentor and to spread the gospel of Christianity," as per IMBD.

The film also stars Liam Neeson, Adam Driver and Issei Ogata.

Meanwhile, Stone revealed in a recent interview that she shares a strong relationship with Sony. The actress reportedly shares a 10-year association with the production house and cherishes it.

"There's always been a long-standing relationship and Amy Pascal has always been in contact. She's always been a very supportive person in my life and in work. I know this is a business, but with the ebbs and flows and changes throughout people's lives and work, Amy and Matt have always been kind to me," said the actress to Deadline amidst the "Spider-Man" franchise controversy.

Stone will be next seen in the upcoming Woody Allen and Cameron Crowe 's project.
