Allu Arjun's "Sarainodu" (Sarrainodu) continued to make decent collection at the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana (AP/T) box office on Saturday. Its two-day share stands at Rs. 16.25 crore.

"Sarainodu" was released in 960 screens across the Telugu-speaking states on April 22. The movie opened to a superb response with its average occupancy reaching 90 percent on Friday. The film collected Rs 14.40 crore gross at the AP/T box office on the first day and its distributors' share stood at Rs 10.96 crore. It became the biggest opener for Allu Arjun, beating all his previous movies' records.

The Boyapati Srinu-directed action film received mixed talk from audience and critics. Trade pandits in T-Town predicted the word of mouth would take a toll on its collection on the following days. Like "Sardar Gabbar Singh," "Sarainodu" would incur huge losses to its distributors.

Several successful movies in recent times have witnessed some amount of a dip in their collection on the second day. Like them, "Sarainodu" witnessed an over 50-percent decline in its collection on Saturday and its business saw much higher than predicted. The flick is estimated to have collected Rs. 7 crore gross at the AP/T box office on it second day and earned Rs. 5.29 crore to its distributors.

"Sarainodu" has collected approximately Rs. 21.40 crore gross at the AP/T box office on the two days. The film has earned Rs. 16.25 crore to its distributors, who have shelled out Rs. 40 crore on its theatrical rights. The movie has recovered 40 percent of the investments to the distributors.
