Telugu superstar Nagarjuna's son Akhil Akkineni, who is set to make his acting debut, recently shot an ad film "Rise above Fear" for Mountain Dew India in the hills of Tirupathi. He teamed up with Tamil actor Arya for this film.
The bosses of Mountain Dew India confirmed the news about the film featuring Akhil Akkineni and Arya on its Twitter page. On 2 December, they tweeted, "Mountain Dew infiltrates the South with the @ghostryderz. Catch them spinning wheels at Tirupathi in the days to come." They added, "Hey Guys! #Guesswhat? We just shot an amazing Dew Film with @arya_official_ and @AkhilAkkineni8 ."
Besides unleashing some photos and a video of these stars on Twitter, they wrote, "Here is another clue of what they were put through by Mountain Dew. #Guesswhat." They added, "@arya_official_ fears heights and darkness; but then he attempted to #GoBeyondLimits and fears for the Dew Film."
Akhil Akkineni also took to his Twitter page this morning to share the news about his ad film with his followers. Along with posting a photo, he wrote, "Height is one thing I've always feared & that was exactly what @MountainDewIn made me conquer. @MountainDewIn The risks were real while I shot for the Mountain Dew film recently!"
Arya joined Twitter on 5 December and wrote, "Finally on Twitter! How is everyone doing?" On 9 December, he posted, "I didn't think I would ever get over my fear of vertigo. But @MountainDewIn had other plans for me! @MountainDewIn It was challenging... but what an experience! #Guesswhat."
