Latest buzz is that the teaser of Ajith's upcoming film "Veeram" will be released in November. An industry insider told Behindwoods that "Veeram" teaser has been readied and might be released on 5 November, just three days after Diwali. However, an official confirmation is expected in this regard.
Directed by "Siruthai" Siva, "Veeram" is gearing up for a Pongal release next year. The film might hit screens a few days ahead of the harvest festival (i.e. 10 January) to cash in on the long weekend.
The shooting of "Veeram" is progressing at a brisk pace in Hyderabad and is expected to get completed soon. The film, produced by Vijaya Productions, will have Tamannah teaming up with Ajith for the first time. The other cast members include Santhanam, Ramesh Khanna, Vidharth, Devadarshini, Vidyullekha Raman, Suhail Chandhok (brother of former Formula One racer Karun Chandhok) and Pradeep Rawat.
After completing his portions for the film, Ajith will begin shooting for his new film with Gautham Menon. This is the first time the actor and the director are joining hands for a film project
Earlier it was reported that Ajith will be taking a break after "Veeram" to undergo a surgery. But it seems the actor has decided to concentrate on his film projects. According to reports, Ajith will begin shooting for Gautham's untitled venture from February 2014.
The film will be produced by Sri Satya Sai Movies, which happens to be the same banner that produced "Arrambam". Armed with a lot of expectations, the film is all set for a grand worldwide release on 31 October. Advance booking for the Ajith starrer has been phenomenal and the film is expected to make a historic opening.
