Bollywood actress and former Miss World Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made a stunning comeback on stage at the 50th edition of Ponds Femina Miss India 2013. Her ex-beau Vivek oberoi also performed at the event.
Aishwarya gave out a mind blowing performance on one of tracks from "Guzaarish", which was her last movie before she took a break from films due to her pregnancy. She wore a sparkling outfit and seemed comfortable in performing some complex steps which were choreographed by dance guru Shiamak Davar.
The 39-year-old actress had not signed up for any major projects after she was reported pregnant in 2011. She gave birth to Aaradhya Bachchan, popularly known as "Beti B", on 16 November, 2011, and had been a full time mother since then.
Aishwarya's recent performance at the Ponds Femina Miss India 2013 is rumoured to be her initial step towards making a comeback on the big screen.
Earlier, it was reported that the actress will make a comeback through director Farah Khan's next venture "Happy New Year" which would reportedly feature her hubby Abhishek Bachchan alongside Shahrukh Khan and Katrina Kaif.
Recent buzz in tinsel town is that she is all set to star opposite "Student of the Year" fame Varun Dhawan in Sriram Raghavan's dark thriller.
Aishwarya has not made any comments on the reports.
Apart from Aishwarya and Vivek oberoi, other Bollywood celebrities who performed at the Ponds Femina Miss India 2013 were Priyanka Chopra, Aftab Shivdasani, Riteish Deshmukh and playback singer Sonu Nigam.
Three winners were selected for the Miss World, Miss Universe and Miss Earth titles. Navneet Kaur Dhillion was crowned winner of the event while Sobhita Dhulipala and Zoya Afroz were declared first and the second-runner-ups.
The event was held at Yash Raj Studios, Mumbai, and was screened on television Sunday night.
