Kalyan Jewellers brand ambassadors - Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Manju Warrier and Nagarjuna, will share the dais in Dubai this month.
The four celebrities along with Prabhu Ganeshan and Shivraj Kumar will inaugurate Kalyan Jewellers' first showroom in Dubai.
The Bachchans and South India's leading stars will arrive in the UAE on 26 December for the inaugural ceremony. The jewellery brand will open six showrooms in the country.
"We are going to open six stores in the UAE on that day and each of these stars will be inaugurated by one of our brand ambassadors," T S Kalyanaraman, chairman and managing director of Kalyan Jewellers told Gulf News.
Aishwarya will inaugurate a store in Ghusais, Dubai, and Amitabh Bachchan is expected to open a store in Meena Bazaar. Telugu star Nagarjuna will inaugurate the store in Abu Dhabi. Malayalam star Manju Warrier will be present for the inaugural ceremony at all the stores.
Kalyan Jewellers has invested around ₹300 crore to open the new stores in the UAE. All six showrooms will be inaugurated on 26 December.
"This is going to be the biggest event of the year. We will create a stage before our store for the public to see these stars. We are also arranging a huge security force to handle the crowd. There will be adequate man power employed keeping in mind the popularity of the stars," said Ramesh Kalyanaraman, executive director of the brand and son of the chairman.
