Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan and Hollywood actress Sharon Stone will come together for a noble cause.

The Bollywood power couple and Sharon will join hands for the inaugural fundraising gala of amfAR (American Foundation for AIDS research) in India on 17 November at the Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai.

The event will be hosted by Sharon, amfAR's Global Fundraising Chair, and the India select co-chairs, Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek.

The event will feature a cocktail reception, dinner, live auction, and world-class entertainment, according to amfAR's official website.

amfAR events, which is one of the most high-profile and anticipated fundraisers, has raised more than $100 million in support AIDS research programs.

The international events have already taken place in cities like Cannes, Dubai, Milan, Paris, Rio, Rome, São Paolo, Toronto, Venice, and Vienna.

amfAR India will also have varied range of notable guests, including international celebrities and famous names from the worlds of music, business, art, and society.

American singer-songwriter and rapper, Ke$ha, will travel to India in November for her special performance at the fundraising event.

Aishwarya Rai, UNAIDS International Goodwill Ambassador, has been helping to raise funds for amfAR. In May, the actress attended amfAR's 20th annual Cinema Against AIDS gala during Cannes Film Festival.
