After ruling at the domestic box office, filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala is now dominating the television world. Sajid's latest production Dishoom, which was premiered on television recently, has recorded the highest TRP.
Dishoom has joined the league with Sajid's other films Housefull 3 and Baaghi that recorded highest TRPs in the recent months. Housefull 3, Baaghi and Dishoom were box office hits and now the films dominate the TRP charts as well, making it a double win for producer Sajid.
This is not the first time that Sajid has ruled the television industry with TRPs. In 2014, four films produced by Sajid - Kick, 2 States, Heropanti and Highway - topped the TRP charts with their television premiere. And now in 2016, the filmmaker has scored a double hat-trick.
"Every year is a different journey, but this year has been so much like 2014 when we had a slew of films that became popular choice of mass audience. The idea is to continue making different kind of films that connect with the audience," Sajid said in a statement.
"About the top 3 television ratings, who will not be happy to get a gold, silver and a bronze at the same time? It's the hard work of all three teams that we have achieved this feat," he added.
Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC), has revealed the list of films that premiered on television and garnered good TRPs.

Dishoom, starring Varun Dhawan, John Abraham and Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead roles, was released on July 29 worldwide. The action drama became a big hit at the box office and collected Rs 70 crore in its lifetime run.
