Malayalam actress Srinda believes her marriage with Ashab was a mistake that happened due to her immaturity.

The actress opened up about her marital life in a recent interview with popular entertainment magazine Vanitha.

She got married to her boyfriend at the age of 19 with their parents' permission. But after the birth of their son Arhaan, they realised the need for a parting of ways.

Even though the couple is not legally divorced, they live separately. "I do not regret about what I did in my life due to my immaturity and I believe in 'No space for hate' policy. My son supports me, even when I have to stay away from him during film shooting, he manages everything by himself", Srinda adds that she wishes to focus more on her son's future life.

Meanwhile, the actress recently changed her name to Srindaa Arhaan.

Srinda, who became a familiar face for her Kerala audience for her performance in Aashiq Abu's women-centric film "22 Female Kottayam" in 2012 has acted in many other hit Malayalam films.

Some of her notable films include, "Thattathin Marayathu", "Annayum Rasoolum", "Artist", "North 24 Kaatham", "1983", "Manglish", "Kunjiramayanam", "Amar Akbar Anthony", among others.
