After the critically-acclaimed film "Thira", Vineeth Sreenivasan and his brother Dhyan Sreenivasan are back together in their upcoming film "Kunjiramayanam".

The makers released the first song, "Thumba Poove Sundari", of the romantic-comedy entertainer on Monday, 3 August.

"Thumba Poove Sundari" is a pre-wedding song sung by Shankar Mahadevan and shows some romantic moments of Vineeth and Srinda Ashab. The song also features Aju Varghese and Dhyan.

Set in the backdrop of the 1980s, the song shows some hilarious moments; it seems Vineeth has tried to portray Sreenivasan through some trademark dance steps of his father.

The song "Thumba Poove Sundari" reminds us of Sreenivasan's popular romantic song "Pavizamalli Poothulanja Neelavanam" from the film "Sanmanassullavarkku Samadhanam", in which he is seen romancing Karthika.

The music for the songs of the upcoming film have been composed by Justin Prabhakaran and the lyrics have been penned by Manu Manjith.

"Kunjiramayanam" has been directed by debutant Basil Joseph who has earlier directed hit Malayalam short films "Priyamvadha Katharayano" and "Oru Thundu Padam".

Vishnu Sarma has handled the cinematography, editing has been done by Appu Bhattathiri and screenplay is by Deepu Pradeep and Basil.

The 2.30-minute song video, uploaded on YouTube on Monday by Malayalam Muzik247, has been viewed more than 26,000 times at the time of reporting.
