AA18 titled Na Peru Surya launched: Allu Arjun to play a soldier in his next movie [PHOTOS]

Stylish star Allu Arjun's next movie titled Na Peru Surya was launched in style in Hyderabad on Wednesday. The actor, who is set to release DJ aja Duvvada Jagannadham, will play a soldier in AA18.

Na Peru Surya, which is made with a tagline - Naa Illu India, is produced by Lagadapati Sirish and Sridhar under the banner Ramalakshmi Cine Creations. The producers held a grand opening ceremony in the city. Allu Arjun's father Allu Aravind switched on the camera, while his mother Nirmala sounded the clapboard. Popular director Koratala Siva handed over the script to Vakkantham Vamsi, who will wield the megaphone for the first time with the film.

Allu Arjun launched the logo of Na Peru Surya at its launch. Later, the actor took his Twitter handle to share the logo of the movie with his follower. Besides the photo, the stylish star also wrote: "My New Film " Na Peru Surya Na Illu India " Muhurtham Today. #AA18 #NaPeruSurya."

Addressing media at the launch of Na Peru Surya, Lagadapati Sridhar revealed his excitement to work with Allu Arjun. The producer said, "Allu Arjun promised to work under our production, while we were making the film Style. We are very much that he kept his promise and is working for our production venture Naa Peru Surya – Naa Illu India."

"We are very much excited to associate with successful writer Vakkantham Vamsi who penned stories for Kick, Temper and Race Gurram is turning director now. Moreover, we are happy to have Nagababu and Bunny Vass on board. The film will have top actors and technicians across India. Vishal – Sekhar duo is providing wonderful music. We will announce other details soon," Lagadapati Sridhar added.

Sarathkumar will be seen as an antagonist in Na Peru Surya, while action king Arjun essays an important role. The makers have brought hit Bollywood musician duo Vishal – Sekhar to compose music for the film, which will have Rajiv Ravi's camera work, Kotagiri Venkateshwara Rao's editing, Ram-Laxman's fights and Ramajogayya Sastry's lyrics. Allu Arjun will start shooting for the film in July weeks after the release of DJ aja Duvvada Jagannadham.
