"A...Aa" has taken the U.S. box office by storm, shattering the opening weekend collection records of "Nannaku Prematho," "Sardaar Gabbar Singh" (or "SGS") and "Brahmotsavam."

The Nithin and Samantha-starrer premiered in over 135 screens across North America and received massive response from the audience. The strong word of mouth boosted its business, with the film going from strength to strength on the subsequent days. "A...Aa" became the highest-grossing film for Nithin, beating the lifetime business records of his previous releases.

"A...Aa" passed the $1-million mark at the U.S. box office on its third day. "A...Aa" has also beaten the record of "Nannaku Prematho," which had collected $1,631,799 from 192 screens at the U.S. box office in its opening weekend.

Having collected $2,019,211 in its life time, "Nannaku Prematho" is the highest-grossing Telugu film of 2016.
