62nd National Film Awards Ceremony: Kangana Ranaut, Vijay, Uthara Unnikrishnan, Others Honoured [PHOTOS]

President Pranab Mukherjee honoured the winners of the 62nd National Film Awards on Sunday, 3 May.

The awards ceremony, hosted by Rajat Kapoor and Pallavi Joshi, took place at Vigyan Bhavan Plenary Hall from 6 pm onwards and it was attended by Arun Jaitley and Rajyavardhan Rathore, among others.

While "Haider" received six National Awards, Kangana Ranaut was honoured as the best actress for her performance in the super hit film "Queen"

Shashi Kapoor, the winner of the Dadasaheb Phalke Award this year, couldn't attend the event due to ill health. However, the audience gave a standing ovation to the veteran actor.

Uthara Unnikrishnan, 10, who won the award for best playback singer was lauded by the President for her talent.
