The winners of the 62nd National Film Awards has been announced.

Marathi movie "Court" written and directed by Chaitanya Tamhane has won the top honours of Best Feature Film, Kannada actor Vijay has won the award for the Best Actor for his performance in the movie, "Nanu Avanalla Avalu", and Kangana Ranuat as speculated went away with Best Actress award for her immaculate portrayal of a young woman in the movie, "Queen".

It is the movie "Haider" which went on to win a maximum of five awards at 62 National Film Awards including Best Music director, Best Dialogue, Best Choreography, Best Costume Designer and Best Male Playback Singer.

Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra starrer "Mary Kom" won the Best Popular Film award providing wholesome entertainment.

The National Awards ceremony will be held on 3 May 2015 at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi. President Pranab Mukherjee will honour the best of Indian cinema in various categories during the grand function.
