Looks like comedian Kapil Sharma is in demand among award show organisers. After Guild Film Awards 2015, Kapil will now host the 22nd Annual Star Screen Awards.

Kapil made a mark in the film and television industry with his stint as host of popular show "Comedy Nights With Kapil". After the success of "Comedy Nights With Kapil", Kapil hosted several award shows this year, including one of the biggest award shows – Filmfare Awards.

Now, the "Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon" actor Kapil will step into Shah Rukh Khan shoes to host the award show this year. For the past three years, "Dilwale" actor Shah Rukh entertained viewers as the host of the award show with his humour, but this time Kapil will take to the stage as host.

"He (Kapil) has been attending meetings and has been going through a lot of scripts of late. The comedian is not leaving anything untouched to make his act as the host one of the most memorable one. In fact, Kapil is trying to re-tune his patent style of comedy and is working on something new and fresh," IANS quoted a source as saying.

The Annual Star Screen Awards will honour the best of talents of 2015 of the film industry and films released this year. A panel of distinguished professionals from the industry will announce the nomination and winners of Annual Star Screen Awards.

The 22nd Annual Star Screen Awards will take place in the first week of the new year, but it will be aired only in the last week of January on Star Plus. Like last year, this year also Bollywood's A-list celebrities are expected to attend the event, which will be held in Mumbai.
