The bookings for Triumph's new range of Bonneville motorcycles have begun in the country ahead of the launch at the Auto Expo 2016.

Triumph's 2016 Bonneville includes five models -- the Street Twin, Bonneville T120, Bonneville T120 Black, Thruxton and Thruxton R. The company has also released a teaser image of the 2016 Bonneville model.

Triumph Bonneville Street Twin, the entry level model of the new range of Bonneville motorcycles, comes powered by 900 cc four-stroke, twin-cylinder engine that can churn out 54 BHP @ 5,900 rpm and 80 Nm of torque @ 3,200 rpm. The Triumph Street Twin will be imported to India as a completely-knocked-down (CKD) unit. The engine comes paired to a 6-speed transmission.

The Triumph Bonneville T120 and Triumph Bonneville T120 Black get power from 1,200 cc liquid-cooled 8-valve engine that develops 105 Nm of torque. The motorcycles are offered in two riding modes – Road and Rain.

The Bonneville Thruxton and Thruxton R are powered by the same 1,200 cc parallel-twin engine but re-tuned to dish out 112 Nm of torque @ 4,950 rpm. The motorcycles can be booked at all Triumph dealerships located across the country. The company currently has 12 dealerships in Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Indore, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad and Kochi. The bookings for the 2016 Triumph Bonneville models are open against a down-payment of Rs 1 lakh.
