French auto maker Renault on Thursday took the wraps off its new 2015 Pulse facelift in India. The price of the new Pulse is ₹5.03 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
The new Pulse, which comes with the same styling and engine specifications of the current one, gets updated interiors and features. The 2015 Pulse facelift features automatic headlamps, steering mounted controls and a height adjustable driver seat.
Inside the cabin, the new 2015 Pulse hatchback gets dual tone dashboard with a piano black finish on the centre console. The feature list also includes smart key access with engine start-stop button, auto folding outside rear view mirrors, 2 DIN music system with Bluetooth and USB. On the safety front, the 2015 Pulse gets ABS+EBD, dual airbags and crash sensors.
The new Pulse continue to draw power from the same 1.5 litre K9K dCi and 1.2 litre engine .while the diesel Pulse offers a mileage of 23 kmpl mileages, petrol variant is tuned to give a return of 18 kmpl.
"Pulse is an important part of our product portfolio and we have made several product enhancements to make the 2015 Pulse even more attractive and exciting for customers," PTI quoted Sumit Sawhney, Country CEO and Managing Director, Renault India Operations, as saying.
The company rolled out its new Pulse amid rumours that the Renault has suspended production of Pulse and Scala in the country. However, a PTI report said that the company will continue to sell Pulse and Scala in India. Besides the new Pulse, it is also planning to introduce a refreshed Scala.
