Ford is gearing up to launch its new Figo hatchback in India this festive season. Ahead of its official launch, a prototype of 2015 Figo hatchback has been spied undergoing tests in the country.

Snapped by Shifting Gears, the latest spy shots of new Figo show the model in its completely revealed avatar and in Orange body shade. The new Figo hatch, which is retailed in Brazil as Ka, will take on the likes of Maruti Suzuki Swift, Hyundai Grand i10 and Tata Bolt in India when launched.

The model is likely to be priced at ₹4 lakh and is expected to include dual-tone interior with Ford's SYNC multimedia system, automatic climate control, electronic folding mirrors and safety features like dual front air bags. The top-end variant of Figo hatch Titanium is also likely to house roof spoiler and alloy rims.

Under the hood, Figo hatchback is expected to pack 1.2 litre petrol motor and 1.5 litre TDCi diesel engine, which can generate a power of 89bhp and a peak torque of 204Nm. The engines are likely to come paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
