Rajinikanth's 2.0 (Robot 2.o) has continued to keep the cash registers ringing at the US box office in its third week. The movie has much better collection than Odiyan and Hushaaru on its third Saturday.
Released in the theatres on November 29, 2.0 collected $5 million mark at the US box office in two weeks and went on to become highest grossing film for Rajinikanth in the country. But to their surprise, the Shankar-directed sci-fi action thriller continued to fare well and made better collection on the 16th day. 2.0 collected $42,999 from 107 USA locations at the US box office on its third Friday, while Odiyan and Hushaaru raked in $38,049 (from 20 locations) $11,047 (from 43 locations), respectively.
With new releases getting The Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar starrer went on to show huge growth of 116 percent in its collection on its third Saturday. On the other hand, the new releases witnessed a marginal increase in their numbers. 2.0, Odiyan and Hushaaru collected $92,846, $35,527 and $19,985, respectively at the US box office on Saturday.
