It was a memorable Christmas for Amy Jackson this time. The British actress had got a rare opportunity to cut a cake with Tamil superstar Rajinikanth by her side.

Amy Jackson celebrated this year's Christmas on the sets of forthcoming movie "2.0". The candles on the cake were lit up by Rajinikanth and the team made her cut the cake. She shared the news on Twitter and posted a picture of the celebration. 

The actress is working with Rajinikanth for the first time and currently, they are busy shooting at a specially erected set on the outskirts of Chennai. Amy Jackson is reportedly playing the role of an antagonist and possibly plays the role of a robot.

Later, she attended the music launch of her other forthcoming movie "Gethu" and ringed in a Christmas party with musician Harris Jayaraj. She posted, "Off into the city for a Christmas treat from @Jharrisjayaraj .. Gethu music launch today! See you soon @Udhaystalin. Amy Jackson is also busy with Vijay's upcoming movie "Theri" directed by Atlee Kumar.

"2.0" is a sequel to "Enthiran" made with a budget of Rs 350 crore, the highest-ever in the Indian film industry. World class technicians will be part of the movie and most of technical works will be done in Hollywood.

Lyca Productions, which had earlier made blockbuster "Kaththi" starring Vijay and Samantha, is bankrolling "2.0". The first instalment was produced by Sun Picture and was made with above Rs 120 crore.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had romanced Rajinikanth in "Enthiran", in which the superstar played the role of a scientist and his villain robot named Chitti.
