Akshay Kumar is all set to make his Kollywood debut with forthcoming Tamil movie "2.0", which is also called "Enthiran" (Endhiran) and "Robot". Akki is reportedly playing the antagonist in the multilingual flick.

The latest news about Akshay Kumar on "2.0" is that the actor has postponed his big-ticket Bollywood film "Namastey England" for the Rajinikanth-starrer. The multilingual project demands bulk dates of the Bollywood star, and having run out of options, he has been forced to delay his Hindi film.

Reports say Akshay Kumar has decided to shoot continuously for "2.0" for the next couple of months and complete his portions before moving on to "Namasthey London", which was expected to take off in April 2016. The Bollywood superstar is currently busy with "Rustom", directed by Neeraj Pandey.

Jeyamohan Spills the beans on "Enthiran 2"
Writer Jeyamohan has spilled the beans on "Enthiran 2". In his blog, he has said he completed writing dialogues for the movie a few months ago. Chitti's role from "Enthiran" has been expanded, but originally it was written with another big Tamil star in mind. It takes us back to the rumours of Shankar approaching Kamal Haasan for the antagonist's character.

He has also claimed Arnold Schwarzenegger could not be part of "2.0" due to some issues with international financial laws. Hence, Akshay Kumar was brought in. Jeyamohan added that "2.0" would be more intense than the first instalment. He feels Shankar's best screenplay till date remains "Anniyan", and "2.0" would have a much faster screenplay than the Vikram-starrer.

"2.0" is being bankrolled by Lyca Productions with a budget of Rs 350 crore. Amy Jackson is playing the female lead in the flick, which has AR Rahman's music and Nirav Shah's cinematography.
