After a slow start, the movie, which saw the light of the day in over 800 screens in North America, has done quite well in the US to become the highest-grossing Tamil movie in the US. The next major challenge for 2.0 is to breach into $6 million club in the US.

Meanwhile, the collection in the majority of the centres has dropped. This weekend, a few big movies are releasing and the business of 2.0 is likely to be affected.

2.0 is a science fiction produced by Lyca Productions. The movie is about the impact of cell phone tower radiation. The performance of Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar backed by top-class visuals are the highlights of the Tamil flick in which Amy Jackson is the female lead.
