The 3D first look of Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar's much-hyped 2.0, which is popularly known as Enthiran 2 (Endhiran), will be launched on Sunday, November 20, at 5 pm at Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai.
The first look launch of 2.0 is being organised in Mumbai to draw the attention of the national media as the movie is being made in multiple languages. The makers have shelled out Rs 5 crore on the grand event and Wizcraft, an event management company, is looking after the arrangements.
The first look launch of 2.0 will be hosted by Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar. It will be reportedly attended by bigwigs of Bollywood as it is being held in Mumbai. According to reports, Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and many other personalities have been invited for the function.
In Kollywood, Kamal Haasan has been invited for the event, which will be graced by Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar, AR Rahman, Shankar and the entire cast and crew of 2.0.
The makers of 2.0 have left no stone unturned to make the first look launch the talk of the town. They are streaming the event live on the official YouTube page of the production house. People can catch the action below:
2.0 is an ambitious project of Shankar which is being made with a mammoth budget of Rs 360 crore. The film is being simultaneously shot in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. It will be dubbed into Malayalam and a few foreign languages.
Although it is billed as a sequel to 2010 blockbuster Enthiran, the latest movie will not be a continuation of the first instalment. It is evident as 2.0 is being made with an entirely different cast.
Enthiran was bankrolled by Sun Pictures at a cost of Rs 120 crore. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had played the female lead in one of the all-time biggest hits of South India.
