Mahesh Babu's "Srimanthudu" continues to keep cash registers ringing at the overseas box office even in its second week. The film has also topped the US business chart for Indian movies once again, beating "Brothers", "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" and "Baahubali".

"Srimanthudu", released in over 157 screens in the US on 7 August, collected $2,062,768 (Rs 13.17 crore) at the USA box office in its opening weekend.

New releases "Brothers", "Rangi Taranga", "Vasuvum Saravananum Onna Padichavanga" (VSOP), "Vaalu" and "Ramta Jogi" took away 55 cinema halls from the movie in its second week. Besides, "Srimanthudu" witnessed huge drop in its collection in the second weekend.

Yet, its per-screen collection is better that big-ticket movie "Brothers" and other new releases. In its second weekend, the Mahesh Babu starrer raked in $342,010 from 102 theatres at the USA box office.

The 10-day total collection of "Srimanthudu" stands at $2,654,658 (Rs 17.35 crore) at the USA box office. It has become the second all-time highest Telugu grosser in the country after "Baahubali - the Beginning". Its business is much bigger than many big ticket movies in the country.
