"Talaash", the suspense thriller film directed by Reema Kagti, has slowed down in collections at the domestic box office. In the overseas market, the movie continues to draw audiences.

After tremendous first and second week collections, "Talaash" earnings declined considerably in the third weekend. The movie, starring Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Rani Mukherjee in the lead roles, raked in Rs 5.04 crore in its third weekend, taking the overall domestic total to Rs 89.86 crore.

"The movie has almost exhausted its theatrical run. Collected Rs 5.04 cr nett in Weekend 3. Grand total: Rs 89.86 cr nett. Breakup:- Fri 1.05 cr, Sat 1.76 cr, Sun 2.23 cr," trade analyst and film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted.

On the overseas front, the movie is still ruling the box office collection window. It has become the third highest grosser film of the year after Shahrukh Khan's "Jab Tak Hai Jaan" and Salman Khan's "Ek Tha Tiger".

After the third weekend, "Talaash" collected approximately Rs 7.39 crore (£ 839,375) at the UK box office, Rs 14.80 crore ($ 2,706,375) at the US box office, Rs 3.62 crore (A$ 630,479) in Australia and Rs 94.52 lacs (NZ$ 205,422) in New Zealand and Fiji.

The collection of "Talaash" might fall even further after the release of Salman Khan's "Dabangg 2" this Friday. "Dabangg 2" is Salman Khan's second much-hyped movie of this year. The advance booking of the action-comedy film has already received tremendous response at the domestic box office.

The movie is also expected to have a thunderous start at the overseas box office.
