Following the success of "Bol Bachchan", director Rohit Shetty is now hoping to hop on to the ₹1 billion box office band wagon with his other set of hit movies within 10 days.

Shetty's Bol Bachchan is raking hits at Indian box office as well as in the overseas market. The movie starring Ajay Devgan and Abhishek Bachchan recently gained a spot in the top 20 films at the North American box office.

With ₹440 million in collections during the opening weekend, the romantic comedy managed to break the record of "Housefull 2" and the Ajay Devgan starrer "Singham", which collected ₹420 million and ₹310.07 million respectively. However, the flick couldn't surpass "Rowdy Rathore", which collected ₹480 million in the opening weekend.

Rohit Shetty is quite confident "Bol Bachchan" will reap success and cross the ₹1 billion mark in the coming weeks.

"Wait for 10 days, we'll cross the 100. Don't worry," Shetty told IBN Live.

According to trade analyst and film critic Taran Aadarsh, the film is faring well in the international markets. On Tuesday, the movie collected ₹63 million while on Wednesday it collected Rs. ₹54.3 million, making the total to a net ₹617.7 million.

"India: Wednesday *actuals* 5.43 cr. Total: Rs 61.77 cr nett. Excellent!" he tweeted.

"BolBachchan Tue *actuals* 6.3 cr, total: 56.34 cr nett. Excellent!" he wrote on his Twitter page.

Shetty's other blockbuster movie "Singham" and "Golmaal 3" both starring Ajay Devagn had entered the ₹1 billion club. If "Bol Bahchan" does make it to the mark, then Ajay Devgan would be the next actor after Salman Khan to collect ₹1 billion three consecutive times.

The same would go for Rohit Shetty, who would become the only director to score a hat trick with three centuries. Meanwhile, for Abhishek this will be the first movie he starred in to enter the elite club.

As for actress Asin Thottumkal, this will be her fourth movie to join the club. Her previous movies "Ghajini", "Ready" and "Housefull 2" have crossed the mark at the box office. And the south actress is now hoping for her recent movie to join the club.

In an interview with a movie portal, the actress said that "she is being considered a lucky mascot after the back to back success of films like "Ready" and "Housefull 2" and is hoping that her latest Bollywood movie "Bol Bachchan" will also exceed the Rs 100-crore collection and she will have a hat-trick success."
