Telugu star Jr NTR's "Baadshah" is not just ruling the Andhra Pradesh box office collections, but is also doing really good business in the United States.

"Baadshah," which was released on 5 April across the globe, is doing extremely well in the US, setting a new record for NTR at the overseas box office. According to the latest reports, the Jr NTR-starrer has grossed more than ₹6 crore in the second week.

"#Baadshah [Telugu; 2nd Week] Fri $ 32,770, Sat $ 59,503. Total: $ 1,199,231 [₹6.55 cr]. Excellent!" film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.

After three back-to-back flops, Jr NTR has made a great comeback with the release of "Baadshah" directed by Sreevu Vaitla, whose last movie "Dookudu" with Mahesh Babu was a blockbuster in India as well as overseas.

With no big releases, the movie is expected to continue its successful run for another two weeks until Nagarjuna's "Greeku Veerudu" gets released on 26 April.

"Baadshah" is a story about a young man who seeks revenge against mafia kingpin Sadhu Bhai (Kelly) for the death of his foster brother in a bomb blast. Jr NTR appears as Rama Rao as well as Baadshah in the movie.

The film boasts of an interesting star cast including Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth, Kelly Dorji, Navdeep, MS Narayana, Brahmanadam, Nassar and Vennela Kishore, all featuring in pivotal roles. "Baadshah" has all the ingredients of a perfect commercial entertianer. It is produced by Ganesh Babu of the Parameswara Arts production banner. The music of the film is scored by S Thaman. Kollywood star Silambarasan Rajendar (STR) has sung a song titled "Diamond Girl" with singer Suchitra in this movie.

Actor Mahesh Babu has given voice-over in "Baadshah" to introduce the characters in the film.
