Zen Ultrafone Amaze 701 FHD: 5.0-inch Quad-Core Smartphone Launched in India

Zen Mobile today officially launched the company's new flagship smartphone Ultrafone Amaze 701 FHD in India.

Speaking on the occasion of the new smartphone launch, Zen Mobile, Managing Director, Deepesh Gupta said, "With the Zen Ultrafone 701 FHD, we continue with our promise to bring something aspirational to this very competitive segment of smartphone market of our country. For anyone who wants to be creative, expressive and unique, Amaze is the ideal device available at the most affordable price", reported NDTV.

The new Zen smartphone sports magnesium body case with 5.0-inch full HD OGS (One Glass Solution) screen, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 2 shield and runs on the Android v4.2 Jelly Bean OS out-of-the-box.

Ultrafone Amaze 701 FHD is a successor of company's Ultrafone 701 HD, which was launched in April this year. It comes with a faster CPU boasting of 1.5GHz Quad-core processor with 1GB RAM and packs 16 GB memory on board with options of expansion up to 32GB via microSD card.

In the new smartphone, we can also see a bump in camera specification as well. It flaunts 13.0-megapixel main camera with BSI 2 sensor and LED flash support on the rear side and an 8.0-megapixel front-facing snapper. Connectivity options include dual-SIM slots, 2G & 3G network support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPRS/EDGE features.

E-retailer, Snapdeal has already begun selling Zen Ultrafone Amaze 701 FHD for ₹17,999. It will be competing against the recently released Micromax Canvas Turbo A250 as well as the Intex Aqua i7.
