A new report from China claims that Xiaomi might launch the Redmi Note 2 next week.
The eagerly awaited Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 was previously rumoured to be unveiled on 16 July, but it never materialised as the company launched the affordable Mi TV 2S and portable Mi Water purifier instead.
Now technology blog My Drivers has got hold of Xiaomi's official MiStore screen-shot, showing Redmi Note 2 (32GB) with a price-tag of ¥799 (around $128/€118/₹8,210).
Another Chinese e-commerce site JD too has opened a dedicated Redmi Note 2 page revealing that the pre-order for Xiaomi's budget phablet will go live on 16 August.
These reports have apparently made many believe that Xiaomi might unveil Redmi Note 2 soon, probably next week on 13 August, wherein the company has already confirmed the launch of new Android skin MIUI v7.0 for its smart devices.
