Chennai, Nov 16 (ANI): Norway's Magnus Carlsen credited his opening moves for victory over India's Viswanathan Anand in a gruelling fifth game of the ongoing World Chess Championship in Chennai on Friday. The fifth game went on for over five and a half hours. Anand was playing with black pieces while Carlsen had white. Carlsen is ahead of Anand by 3-2. Just 22, Carlsen is considered the favourite after beating Anand in their last encounter in June. Anand, 43, however, is unperturbed. The two will play a total of 12 games till November 26 on a glass-encased, soundproof stage at a five-star hotel in Chennai. Their first four matches ended in draws.
