Shimla/ New Delhi/ Hyderabad, June 09 (ANI): Himachal Pradesh CM, Virbhadra Singh, on Monday ordered probe against the authorities for releasing water from a dam without issuing a warning which swept away 24 students. The engineering students of a private college, VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology of Hyderabad went missing on Sunday when they were standing on the bank of Beas river near Thalot on Manali-Kiratpur Highway to click photographs. The water of the river suddenly increased following its release from the reservoir of 126 MW Larji hydropower project. Teams of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) were rushed to the spot to help with rescue operations.
