New Delhi, June 26 (ANI): Urban Development Minister Venkaiah Naidu on Thursday flagged off Metro services between Mandi House and Central Secretariat. The stretch would provide huge relief for commuters who get down at decongesting Rajiv Chowk station. Besides providing a one-point transfer to commuters headed from Central Secretariat for Vaishali and Noida. The 3 km-long underground corridors will have one station in between Janpath and is expected to benefit some 70,000 commuters. With this n0ew line, Mandi House would now be the interchange point for three lines - Noida-Dwarka Sector 21, Central Secretariat-Badarpur and Jahangirpuri-Huda City Centre.
