Poonch, June 09 (ANI): The culture of Jammu and Kashmir is a synthesis of a variety of customs and religious influences, which have given birth to an ethos that celebrates seamless co-existence. And there are many example of this fact. Urs of Sai sahib was celebrated with fervor and enthusiasm by the people of different communities in Poonch district of Jammu. Here devotees belonging to various communities come to seek blessings of the revered saint. People believe that wishes are granted by paying visit to his shrine. While the Urs of Sai Sahib is celebrated every year with lot of pomp as devotees not only from within the state but from other parts of the country also, visit the shrine. Urs of sufi poet Rehman Dar was celebrated quietly and his dictions were remembered on this occasion. If legend is to be believed Rehman Dar's dictions were so meaningful that even the eminent philosophers of the valley had to consult dictionaries to understand them.
