Actor Mickey Rourke has slammed DJ Funkmaster Flex for claiming that rapper Tupac Shakur (2Pac) had shot himself during a failed assassination attempt two decades back. While talking to a leading entertainment portal, Rourke said that he was with Tupac when he was shot for the first time.

Rourke and Tupac were good friends; in fact, The Iron Man 2 actor says that the rapper stood with him during some hard times and was like a brother to him. Talking to TMZ, Rourke said that he was there for Tupac when he went to jail and later with him and his mother when the rapper was shot five times.

When asked about Flex's claims that Tupac lied about shooting and that took the life of rapper Notorious B.I.G. or Biggie Smalls, Rourke said that he was with Tupac and his mother when he was shot.

"He got shot five times – in the arm, then forearm, in the leg and in the ba**s. And I was there when his mother wheeled him out of the fu**ing hospital," Rourke told TMZ.

"So, whoever this mother f***er is, tell him come see me to my face. If you want to talk about my brother when he's not here. You tell any mother f***er on the planet, he got any s*** to talk about Tupac, come look me up. OK? Come look me up any mother f***ing time. If you want to talk about Tupac when he ain't here, come look my a** up."

"If anybody wanna talk s*** about him, come talk to Mickey Rourke to my face. Alright? Any f***inh time. Any time. I don't care if he's nine-foot-f***ing tall," he added.

Earlier, Flex in a live video chat on Instagram had talked about the time when Tupac from the West Coast was shot in the leg. After the video chat, Flex took to Twitter to tell everyone that if Tupac had said the truth about the incident, then it would have saved Biggie's life.

"You Pac fans always talking that talk. Cheddar Bob. Came in there, popped himself in the leg. Popped himself first. That's what happened. He knew who approached him. He had a steel (a gun) on him, 'cause he knew he had an issue out there," Flex was quoted as saying by The Sun.

"When they (Tupac's rivals) got there, they were just gonna take his jewellery. They didn't even touch him. He panicked, pulled out the steel, shot himself," he added.
