Vamsi Paidipally-directorial "Thozha" has opened to extremely positive reviews from the audience and critics. It has Karthi, Nagarjuna and Tamanna Bhatia in the leads. The film has been simultaneously made in Telugu as "Oopiri."

Prakash Raj, Ali, Jayasudha, Vivek and many others are in the cast. Gopi Sunder has composed the music for "Thozha" and PS Vinod has handled the cinematography. While Praveen KL has edited the Tamil version, Madhu has edited "Oopiri."
The movie tells the story of a quadriplegic millionaire and an emotionally-challenged person. While Nagarjuna plays the role of a physically-challenged man, Karthi plays his caretaker in "Thozha." It is the South Indian remake of French movie "The Intouchables."
Carefree boy Seenu (Karthi) believes money is the source of happiness. On the other side, quadriplegic billionaire Vikram (Nagarjuna), despite having all the best things in life, is not happy. What happens when two people with different views meet and how they make their lives better form the crux of the story.

Review:
People have praised the brilliance of the director in handling the subject. Nagarjuna and Karthi have taken away all the limelight with their stupendous performance, as per the audience. Tamanna Bhatia looks stunningly beautiful. Prakash Raj and Vivek too have done justice to their roles. But needless songs in the film have not gone well with the viewers.
