Chennai, Oct 05 (ANI): Supporters of regional party All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) on Sunday performed special prayers for the release of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, who was pronounced guilty in the disproportionate assets case. In Chennai, AIADMK ministers and legislatures have been protesting every day in various ways to show their displeasure over former chief's arrest. AIADMK councilor, MM Babu said prayers and the wishes of the down trodden of the society will help Jayalalithaa's release. Jayalalithaa was sentenced to four years in jail in the disproportionate assets case by a special court in Bangalore. The court has also fined the party chief Rs 100 crore which will be taken from the properties that have already been seized by the court.
