Kamal and Simran are back in news. it seems that, Kamal prefered to pair along with Simran, for the Malayalam ramake of Drishyam.Jeetu Joseph, who directed the original in Malayalam will direct the tamil version too. When the makers contacted Kamal with choice of Nadhiya and Simran, for the lead female character, played by Meena in Malayalam, Ulaga Nayagan chose Simran!
