The first-look poster of Kunchacko Boban, Jayasurya and Amala Paul-starrer "Shajahanum Pareekuttiyum" was released on the Facebook account of movie's producer Ashiq Usman on Wednesday, June 1. The poster features the lead actors of the comedy entertainer.
"Come celebrate this EID with Shajahan and Pareekutty on the 7th of July at theatres near you [sic], Ashiq wrote while sharing the first look poster of the movie on Facebook.
"Shajahanum Pareekuttiyum," helmed by Boban Samuel, also stars Aju Varghese, Suraj Venjarammoodu and Lena in pivotal roles. YV Rajesh has written the romantic comedy entertainer, for which Anishlal RS has handled the camera. Gopi Sunder has composed the music and Lijo Paul has edited the movie. The movie, which is being produced by Ashiq Usman under the banner of Ashiq Usman Productions, went on floors on April 4 and was wrapped up on May 27.
The upcoming movie is the third outing of Bobby and Jayasurya after the films "Janapriyan" and "Happy Journey." It marks the association of the filmmaker with Kunchacko Boban for the second time, after the superhit comedy entertainer "Romans."
Meanwhile, the chemistry between Jayasurya and Kunchacko has been well accepted by the audience as they have acted together in the films, "Swapnakood," "Lollipop," "101 Weddings," "Four Friends," "Gulumaal: The Escape" and "Three Kings." The duo was last seen together in the latest Rosshan Andrrews movie "School Bus," which has been garnering positive response from moviegoers.
Amala will be sharing the screen space with Kunchacko and Jayasurya for the first time. The actress was last seen opposite Mohanlal in the 2015 movie, "Laila O Laila."
