The recent buzz is that Shahid Kapoor's half brother Ishaan Khattar and Saif Ali Khan's daughter Sara will make their debut in Mohit Suri's film. It is said to be a love story and it will be produced by Karan Johar.
According to a Mid Day report, Ishaan and Sara's debut film will go on floors next year in March. The duo will begin their acting workshops in January. Earlier, Ishaan and Sara made headlines for being cast in "Student of the Year 2" as well.
Since Karan Johar revealed that the sequel of "SOTY" will be made soon, the names of Ishaan, Sara and other star kids started doing the rounds. But, nothing has been confirmed yet. There were reports that Ishaan had been auditioned by Dharma Productions and KJo will be launching him in Bollywood.
Now, it will be interesting to see whether Ishaan and Sara will appear in "SOTY 2" or it will be a different love story. Sara has recently graduated from Columbia University, while Ishaan has worked as an assistant director in "Udta Punjab."
A few days ago, it had been reported that Tiger Shroff might star in "Student of the Year 2" and nothing has been mentioned about Sara and Ishaan. But, now the star kids are starring in Mohit Suri's film, which will be produced by "SOTY" director KJo.
According to earlier reports, Karan was not supposed to direct the film's sequel. So, there are possibilities that "SOTY 2" is the film, which stars Ishaan and Sara, and it is being directed by Mohit. Apart from those two star kids, there were others like Amitabh Bachchan's granddaughter Navya Naveli, Saif's son Ibrahim, Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan and Sridevi's daughter Jhanvi Kapoor, who were also being considered for "Student of the Year 2."
