New Delhi, July 18 (ANI): All 11 convicted in the 1993 Surat bomb blast case have been acquitted by the Supreme Court on Friday. Petitioner lawyer said that a two-judge bench of Justice TS Thakur and Justice C Nagappam not only acquitted all the 11 accused but also reversed a TADA court verdict that had sentenced them to jail from 10 to 20 years. The two blasts had taken place in January 1993 in Varachha area and on the platform number one of Surat railway station during the communal riots that broke out after the demolition of Babri Masjid.
