The first teaser of Sasikumar's Balle Vellaiya Thevaa will be released on Thursday, December 1. It is said to be a video that will revolve around the main characters in the upcoming Tamil movie.
"#BalleVellaiyaThevaa teaser frm today at 6 pm @ravindranathgur @editorpraveen @onlynikil.[sic]" Sasikumar tweeted. The video clip is expected to introduce Sasikumar's character and give an outline of the storyline in the flick.
Sasikumar, who is known for action movies in rural backdrops, is set for an image makeover as Balle Vellaiya Thevaa is a comedy entertainer. This factor makes the movie standout from his rest of his films.
The shooting of Balle Vellaiya Thevaa has been wrapped up in less than 70 days. Presently, the post-production work is being carried out.
The makers had initially claimed that Balle Vellaiya Thevaa would be released in December. But the demonetisation of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes has badly affected the film industry. As a result, many movies, which were supposed to be out last month, are now releasing in December.
With too many movies lined up for hitting the screens, the release of Balle Vellaiya Thevaa is likely to be pushed further.
Balle Vellaiya Thevaa is the ninth production of Sasikumar. The movie is written and directed by Solai Prakash. Raju Sundaram is the choreographer, while Darbuka Siva of Kidaari fame is composing the music. Ravindranath Guru is the cinematographer and Praveen Anthony is the editor of the upcoming Tamil film.
The movie stars Tanya Ravichandran in the female lead, while Kovai Sarala, Sangili Murugan and Leesha are there in major roles.
