World's smartphone leader Samsung on Monday launched the global variant of Galaxy Win smartphone following its launch in China.

Samsung's new device sports a 4.7-inch TFT LCD screen and runs on Android mobile OS v4.1 Jelly Bean out-of-the box.

Galaxy Win packs a quad-core processor along with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal memory with options of expanding it to 32GB. It packs a pretty high-capacity 2000 mAh battery.

The new smartphone also comes with few smart features such as:

Easy mode: This feature allows the user to have stream line access to top applications directly from the home screen.

Smart Alert: If the user forgets to check a message, e-mail, call, or an appointment in the calendar, this smart alert feature will enable the smartphone to automatically notify the user once the phone is picked up.

Motion UX: This feature allows the user to lower music volume, refresh and update web pages as well as scan for other devices just by using motion gestures.

Samsung has claimed that the Galaxy Win will be available in single and dual-SIM variants depending on the market. The smartphone will be available in two colours - Ceramic white and Titan Gray. However, the South Korean company has chosen to remain silent about the availability of the smartphone neither in India and other specific markets.
