Earlier in the week, Samsung officially launched the Galaxy S5 in India, now a new report has surfaced that the company is also set to introduce a new variant of the 2012 flagship smartphone dubbed as Galaxy S3 Neo+.

Popular Mumbai based smartphone vendor, Manish Khatri has revealed that the stocks of the new Samsung Galaxy 3 Neo+ (I9300I) are expected to reach his store in few days time and would go sale for ₹24,990.

Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo+ made its debut in China in January this year. It sports a 4.8-inch AMOLED display and runs on the Android v4.3 Jelly Bean powered by 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 1.5GB RAM and 16GB inbuilt storage (expandable up to 64GB).

Other stipulated attributes include 8.0-megapixel main camera, 1.9-megapixel front camera, 2100 mAh battery and houses standard connectivity features like 3G network support, GPS/GLONASS, Bluetooth v4.0 and Wi-Fi.

The Samsung's new phone is very identical to Galaxy S3 in terms of exterior looks as well as the internal hardware, the only discernible difference between the two devices is that S3 Neo+ comes with dual SIM slots and offers more physical memory (1.5GB) and Infrared Blaster (remote control feature), but packs slower 1.2GHz CPU compared to the 1.4GHz quad-core processor seen inside the 2012 original model.
